This picture frame is entirely made by hand and is exquisitely handcrafted by skilled artisans native to India.
Adorned with intricately carved recycled and naturally occurring buffalo horn, it takes a team of several artisans to create a single frame. One artisan is responsible for hand carving each piece of horn into delicate shapes. A second person affixes those pieces onto a wooden base set for the frame. The frame is then finally buffed, sanded and polished to bring forward the natural sheen on the horn.
